Notes — Privacy

Privacy notice.

What happens to the details you share with Primadonna Music, in plain English.

Who we are

Primadonna Music is run by Mair Rees-Davies, who is responsible for the personal information you share through this website. For anything about your data, email mair@primadonnamusic.co.uk or call 07984 853305.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry, we receive your name, email address, telephone number if you give it, the kind of enquiry, your child's age, the lesson and format you are interested in, and anything you write in your message.

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.

Pupils' videos are hosted on YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play; the video then plays in YouTube's privacy-enhanced player, and YouTube's own privacy policy applies.

How we use it

Only to reply to your enquiry and, if lessons go ahead, to arrange them. We use it because you have asked us to respond, and we never sell your details or use them for marketing.

When you send an enquiry, we email you a copy so you have a record of what you sent.

The website is hosted by Vercel. Enquiries are delivered by email through Resend, our email provider, which processes them on our behalf.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry only for as long as we need it to answer you and, if lessons go ahead, to arrange them. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Newsletter

If you sign up for programme notes, we first email you a link to confirm. Until you press it, nothing is kept and you will not hear from us again.

Once you confirm, your email address is kept on our mailing list with Resend, our email provider, and used only to send you programme notes: a few emails a term about concerts, exam results and term dates. We rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email, or by emailing us.

Photographs of pupils

Photographs of children appear on this site only with written permission from a parent or guardian, and never with a child's name. To have a photograph removed, email us and it will be taken down.

Videos of pupils appear only with a parent's or guardian's permission. A video shared from a family's own YouTube channel keeps the title and captions they gave it. To have a video removed, email us.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time. If you are unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
